NYCU Law is Taiwan’s leading law school focusing on the interdisciplinary study of law. According to the 2021 QS World University Rankings, NYCU Law was ranked 150-200 in the world in the subject of law, and 2nd in Taiwan.
NYCU Law began as the “Intellectual Property Management” program in 1993, and then the “Institute of Technology Law” (ITL) in 2000. The ITL was transformed into the School of Law in 2015.
Ever since its creation, NYCU Law has stood by its strong dedication to the study of law and technology and interdisciplinary approaches. NYCU Law hosts the annual “National Technology Law Conference” that attracts hundreds of scholars and legal professionals, as well as business managers and government officials to join discussions on recent developments in law and technology issues as well as other related new developments.
NYCU Law offers pioneering interdisciplinary studies between law and economics, technology, medicine, and public health, and focuses on international and comparative law studies. We believe that our diverse course offerings enable our students to see and experience different perspectives of the law.
