Overview of NYCU Law

The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University School of Law is one of Taiwan’s leading law schools, ranked 2nd among law schools in Taiwan and ranked 151–200 overall in the world in the subject of law by the QS World University Rankings. Because of its small size, NYCU Law offers an exceptional and intimate environment for student learning and growth. Our mission is to prepare students for leadership roles in the rapidly evolving world and inspire those who will shape the future.

NYCU School of Law is located on the campus of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University near the Hsinchu Science Park. It has long been Taiwan’s center for the study of intellectual property and technology law, but now NYCU Law goes beyond its roots in intellectual property and technology law and has equally remarkable achievements in its six main areas of research: Intellectual Property Law; Business Law, Corporate Governance, and White-Collar Crime; Gender Equality, Labor Rights, and Social Justice; Biotechnology and Health Law; Transnational Law and International Negotiation; and Information Communication and Competition Law.
