Students Compete in Arbitration Moot

NYCU School of Law students recently received first runner-up in the “Gong Duan Cup” Arbitration Moot Competition 2021, held by the Chinese Arbitration Association. The competition aims at cultivating talent and promoting “arbitration” as a more common way to settle disputes.

Team members include Erica Chen (陳柔安), Chia-Yun Hsieh (謝佳芸), Huai-Tse Kuo (郭懷澤), and Zayn Chiu (邱彥仁). Huai-Tse Kuo also won the “Best Debater Award” in the preliminary round.

Many thanks to the instruction from Associate Professor Tsai-fang Chen (陳在方) and Assistant Professor Mark Shope (施明遠). Thanks also goes to Olivia Wang (王珮昀) and Jennifer Wu (吳予彤) for coaching and sharing past experiences.
