On July 25, 2022, Dean and Professor of NYCU School of Law Chih-hsiung Chen (陳鋕雄) visited Chen & Chang, Attorneys-at-Law to meet with Attorney David Fong (方兆文, Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association Arbitration Committee), Attorney Hsi-chia Chen (陳希佳, Chairman of the Taiwan Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch and Chen & Chang, Attorneys-at-Law Senior Partner), and Shi-yun Zhang (張詩芸, Chen & Chang, Attorneys-at-Law Partner). The meeting was to discuss future cooperation.
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) cooperated with NYCU this summer to launch the course "Introduction to International Commercial Arbitration." The course was jointly taught by Attorney Hsi-chia Chen (陳希佳) and Associate Professor Tsai-fang Chen (陳在方). Those who took the course were able to obtain the CIArb basic examination qualification.
